Barcelona, Spain is my last trip outside of Morocco. Traveling outside of Morocco is very exhausting and mentally tiring. In Barcelona, I meet up with my friend Jessica Millman from Babson and her two roommates from Italy. We rented an apartment near Plaza Catalunya which is a great location to access the AeroBus, metro, buses, and the rest of the city. I really enjoyed walking around the city of Barcelona, I think Barcelona has some of the most beautiful churches that I have seen so far.The natural lighting in the churches was absolutely amazing. The architect Gaudi's influenced many of the buildings and areas in Barcelona. I fell in love with his work. Also, in Barcelona I visited the Picasso muesum, Casa Batllo, Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Cathedral of Barcelona, La Boqueria Market, and many other sites. While in Barcelona, Jessica and I were able to attend a Barcelona match. Sadly, Messi was unable to play because of an injury. The Barcelona crowd was very family oriented and involved in the game. Everyone clapped, sighed, and booed at the same time. I absolutely loved Barcelona and would go back in the future!
